She graduated from Urban and Regional Planning Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Art University. Afterwards, she was accepted to Istanbul Bilgi University's Cultural Studies Master's Program. After graduating from here with her master's thesis on Public Space and Perception of Authority, she joined the doctoral program at Izmir Institute of Technology and started to work as a Research Assistant at the same school. While continuing hers studies on Local Ecology Challenge and Urban Planning, she ended her academic career; transitioned to the field of local governments. She is still working as an Urban Planner in Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Department of Transportation. She continues her academic studies without an university umbrella.
