Zeki Kılıçaslan

Prof., Chest Diseases, Istanbul University

He was born in 1957 in Trabzon. He graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1980 and earned the title of Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis Specialist in 1984 at the same faculty. Working as a specialist in various hospitals, Dr. Kılıçaslan became associate professor in 1989 and He gained the title of professor in 1994, and in 2000-2003 and 2009-2011 he served as the head of the Department of Chest Diseases of the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, where he is still working. Dr. Zeki Kılıçaslan won the Istanbul Medical Chamber "Dr. Nejat Yazıcıoğlu Occupational Health and Occupational Diseases Service Award" in 2005 for his work with occupational health. In addition,Dr. Kılıçaslan was awarded the "Turkish Medical Association Nusret Fişek Public Health Service Award" in 2009 for his work in the fields of worker health and tuberculosis control.
