Nilay Dökümcü

Following her undergraduate and pedagogical formation study at Istanbul University Department of Biology, Nilay Dökümcü completed her graduate study in Zoology program of the same university. She currently continues her doctorate research on the protection of inland waters and the ecology of benthic invertebrate. Dökümcü has been developing natural protection collaborations under the WWF-Turkey (World-Wide Fund for Nature) and undertakes the coordination of several projects such as Green Office generalizing nature-compatible living practices and Turkey's Lifeblood aiming to protect biodiversity. She is also engaged in training and communication activities in sustainability, new-generation leadership and innovation.
