Koray Velibeyoğlu

Assoc. Prof. Dr., City and Regional Planning, Izmir Institute of Technology

Koray Velibeyoğlu is an associate professor at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Izmir Institute of Technology. The main foci of his research are urban design, planning history, knowledge management, local asset-based development, nature-based solutions, urban ICT policy-making and knowledge-based development processes. Dr. Velibeyoglu is project member of EU-funded H2020 projects entitled “UrbanGreenUP: New Strategy for Re-Naturing Cities through Nature-Based Solutions” and “RURITAGE: Rural regeneration through systemic heritage-led strategies”.
