Büşra Yılmaz

In addition to her undergraduate education in the Department of Sociology at Bahçeşehir University, she received a minor education in the Department of Political Science and International Relations. After completing her Arabic education in Kuwait in order to contribute to the Middle East studies, she started her master's degree at Marmara University, Institute of Middle East and Islamic Countries Studies. She completed her master's thesis on “Labor Market Experiences of Syrian Refugee Entrepreneurs” at the Department of Middle East Sociology and Anthropology. Her research areas are migration, social policy, public cohesion, social psychology and local government. She is the assistant editor of the Journal of Şehir & Toplum, in addition to her duty at the Marmara Municipalities Union, Urban Policy Center.
