The benefits of digitalization such as increasing efficiency in resource use, saving time, strengthening institutional capacity and improving service quality are frequently mentioned. In this session, the place of digitalization in smart city transformation and the opportunities that it presents will be discussed. The session will bring together local government representatives to address the concrete works done at the local level on digitalization and how these works transform the city.
