City networks: Keep calm and meet globally

The cities of the 21st century shape the global agenda and carry out studies for the development of the local by taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the international environment. In this process, where the international presence of cities is becoming more visible, international city networks established to support cities emerge as institutions that strengthen inter-city cooperation, represent their interests in the international arena and carry out studies to increase their capacities.This session aims to bring together the representatives of international city networks working on issues such as the environment, local democracy and mobility, and to inform the representatives of local administrations and other relevant stakeholders about the work of these networks.
