COVID-19 has brought about many changes in the real estate industry. Working online has led to a decrease in the intensity of use in the office stock in cities and a change in the dynamics of internal office space usage. People's expectations from the houses and the open spaces around the residential areas have changed, as houses and the open spaces around them have become the places where people spend the most of their time. While construction accelerated in certain sectors, it slowed down in others. The effects of the pandemic on real estate for the world, Turkey and Istanbul will be discussed together with academics and experts from the sector in the panel "Changing dynamics of real estate in times of COVID-19".
