Regardless of the voluntary or compulsory, individual or mass nature of migration, employment appears as one of the most important parts of the social cohesion process. Local governments, which are one of the key actors in ensuring social cohesion, also play an important role in involving immigrants in the employment market. In the session organized in cooperation with UMT, the inclusion of migrants and refugees in the employment market and the role of local governments in terms of local development will be discussed with local and international examples.
