Public Life Data Tools: Part I

01.10.2021 18:00 - 19:00 | Room 8 | TRAINING

Through nearly 60 years of research, publications, strategic advice, and design, Gehl has developed and utilized a methodology and practice of quantifying public life. This helps make people, their everyday activities and routines visible; giving city leaders a valuable tool, and the evidence needed for the design of places based on human experience rather than aesthetics alone. Join the workshop to learn how to use and apply the Gehl method, called the Gehl Lens.

PROGRAM

Public Life Data Tools: Part I will be about an introduction to using the web-based app to give you the ability to collect data about public life near you.

Public Life Data Tools: Part II will be about going through the data you collected between two training sessions and learning about how to apply it.
